Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield opened Green Leaf Grill in 2013 as a way to lead the charge to healthier living. The restaurant aims to change the culture of dining out from within. Starting with our own company, we want people to know there’s a healthier way of eating. There are better options. We strive to provide smart, delicious choices for breakfast, lunch and throughout the day.
Our Executive Chef
Brandon Douglas, CEC
Brandon graduated from Henderson State University in 2000 and pursued a business career, but found it lacking in the creativity he desired. He decided a change was in order and pursued the Executive Chef designation while attending the Culinary School at Pulaski Technical College. He apprenticed under some of Hot Springs’ biggest chefs, including Paul Uther and Paul Novicky. He’s now rolling that fine dining experience out for Arkansas Blue Cross employees and guests.
